Goals

Three years ago, I decided a personal objective which is to do an academic exchange in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2019. I think that this challenge me is a big opportunity for me, since I am going to face to live alone, to study in another country, a new culture, a new language and a few new persons. Likewise, I have a big fear, on having left my family, having lived alone, having looked for a new house, having studied in another language, having found my internship.

For this challenge, two years ago I decided to learn Portuguese in the University. Which was a wonderful experience since, in addition to learning the language, I knew a little of the culture, food and stories of Brazil without leaving the classroom. And it was as well as in one of the classes, I saw the movie "The two sons of Francisco" which narrates the life of the Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano. This song was released in 1995 and talk about the beginning of these singers, the dreams that they had and the "fear" of the family by letting them travel the world being around children.

For all this I consider that this song defines this goal, because it talks about the experience of my parents, what they have suffered and the fear they have for what I can spend being alone outside of Colombia. In addition, the song refers to motives and dreams because I "leave the house", for which I want to "fly" and face the world. 

Finally, this song also represents the support of my parents toward my because, despite the fear that we all have, know that this experience will help me in both my personal and professional life.
